i am moving to the los angeles area in bout 2 months. i do some personal protecting here in houston and i want to do some there in la. what do i need to do?

Need to go to the states website and obtain your guard card for California. Best if you go through a licensed company who can assist you with the 40 hour requirement, which you will have to complete. The first 8 hours of which is due when you apply for the guard card. It has been averaging about 2 weeks to obtain from the state.

I am A private investigator in va through the state. IN november I will be going through a 68 hour course through the Depart of Criminal Justice Of va to get my personal protection license. I wast wonderin when i do so if there would be any spot for me to do a few jobs when needed in the area or even there in CA.
