Force Protection Specialist

Entry- to senior-level candidates needed with 5-20 years experience in DoD Physical Security, Antiterrorism, OPSEC, and Force Protection.  The successful candidate will have a military background and training/experience in all or some of the following areas:  Vulnerability assessments, report development, contingency planning, drills/exercises, physical security inspections, infrastructure, training (development and proctoring), executive protection, electronic security systems, and guard-force management.

Good writing skills a must.  DoD-recognized antiterrorism (Level II or above), security engineering, physical security, and electronic security systems training a definite plus.  Candidates should be familiar with DoD/Army/Navy regulations and guidance as they relate to the above skill sets.

Former bodyguard to Vladimir Putin, poisoned

Things that make you say…. “Hmmm” According to security sources. Roman Tsepov, 42, a prominent St. Petersburg businessman and former bodyguard to Russian President Vladimir Putin was murdered with a toxin that produced symptoms surprisingly similar to those that killed former spy Alexander Litvinenko, it emerged this week. Roman Tsepov, general director of the Baltik-Eskort private security firm, had felt sick for two weeks, but doctors were unable to find the cause of his illness. He was subsequently hospitalized in grave condition, and while doctors had planned on sending him to Germany for treatment, the condition had already infected his bone marrow and was untreatable. In September 2004 the St. Petersburg prosecutor’s office launched an investigation into his death, which they treated as a premeditated murder
