Executive Protection Officer
DC Metropolitan AreaÂ
Extensive knowledge of the DC metropolitan area is mandatory. The candidate must be able to solve problems in a discreet manner and have the highest ethical standards at all times.
Provides physical protection and chauffeur duties for top-level executives. Often on call beyond normal working hours to protect and transport executives and visitors to and from corporate facilities, meetings, and special events. Guard top-level executives against potential hazards. May use force of arms to carry out assignments. Requires special state police commission and applicable weapons permit. May perform emergency medical response. Attend annual training for tactical driving, executive protection, first aid and pertinent security related courses. Perform advance trip duties, such as selecting and mapping the appropriate transportation route and coordinating the necessary security provisions with local law enforcement agencies and other security groups. May require domestic and international travel when requested. Responsible for the appearance and operation of the vehicle, ensuring that it receives proper maintenance and service.
