Selling Yourself to a Prospective Employer

The job market environment for desirable positions can be very competitive. Make it a goal to positively impact all prospective employers you come in contact with. Take the initiative and promote the essential items in your work history and personal activities that make you stand out in the minds of a hiring decision maker.

Most of us are not natural salespeople. But, many of the top positions in all fields of work are won by candidates that are able to sell their strengths and abilities to prospective employers even though they may not be the absolute best applicant for the position. From the employer’s point of view, filing a position is about creating a good “fit” for the organization with a new employee. Here are some suggestions in the job hunting process that are within your control and you can use to land that new position.

The Senior Manager Security Operations is responsible for the security and safety of cast members and the protection of company assets for all non-theme park locations all areas of the West Coast of the United States including Burbank, Glendale and Los Angeles. The Director will employ a strong strategic and analytical approach in recommending, developing, implementing and overseeing corporate policies and procedures, maximizing the value of centralized services, building consensus among business units and creating synergy.
Establish Executive Protection arrangements within the region and provide advice to assist with existing Executive Protection arrangements for visiting senior executives of the Company.

Manage the executive protection / bodyguard team, ensuring global standardization in delivery of EP security services despite unique, disruptive or changing local conditions.  Close collaboration and seamless partnership with internal partners and colleagues is a must.

Establish and maintain and working relationships fellow employees and external vendor resources while meeting critical timetables and achieving flawless delivery.  Duties include conducting advance security site surveys, logistical coordination, and preparation of written threat assessments, physical security surveys, policy development, and ongoing program management.  As a subject matter expert, convey focused and concise security briefings to employee groups, including to senior executive management.  Create timely and succinct reports or presentations as directed using standard MS applications (excel, word, PowerPoint, etc.)  Must be willing to travel extensive worldwide, often on short notice and occasionally to remote locations.

Hey gang I’m removing this post I have heard nothing but bad things about these guys. Some friends have told me that they promise work if you sign up with them to go to there bodyguard courses, but have never hired anyone or placed them as of yet. I also understand that although they advertise as a bodyguard company they are not licensed to provide security. The following info was provide by a good friend of mine
