of complaint and failure to substantiate their advertising.

Complaints allege the company advertises in help wanted sections of
newspapers and on the internet offering employment as body guards, special
agents and prisoner transporters. Once consumers inquire about available
positions the company requests an advanced payment ranging from $125.73
$255.40 to register for a training academy.

agency, but a registration office.

It is the position of the Better Business Bureau that Advancement Solutions,
LLC’s advertising is deceptive and misleading, and there are no bodyguard,

When considering complaint information, please take into account the
company’s size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of
complaints and a firm’s responses to them are often more important than the
number of complaints.

Hucky , I have talked with these people about 1 mo. Ago and Im not
impressed. Several people suggest they are a scam, they want money up front
to train you. They will put you on a list to go to the sandbox with”big
companies” Problem is they cant name any companies nor do the speak the
terminology P,S.D. they haven’t a clue. So I would be very careful.

  2. Anonymous Says:

DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY. i WOULD LIKE SOMEONES OPINION TO SEE IF THEY ARE FOR REAL. PLEASE EMAIL ME ANYTHING YOU KNOW AT SATANSFOTSOLDIER@AOL.COM

  3. Dave Says:

I registered with these people mid Sept. and still havent been assigned a school date yet. I call them every week and they say they will resubmit my paperwork. There has been 12 hits against them on the BBB. They advertise in my local paper here every week, but yet have I recieved a school date. Im not sure what I can do to get my money back, but I am real close to exposing them on all the websites.

  4. christelle Tilikete Says:

hiring body guards for 50$ and hour ???!!!!!!!! what are supposed to protect ???!!!!! a wall ?? a beach ??? ………

  5. Michael Says:

I agree. I have spoken with this company as well. They do not appear to be legit.

  6. private Says:

This company will tell you what ever you want to hear in order to get your money. he tells you a 3 month waiting period for class so you cannot file a chargback on your credit card. they tell you that you will get paid while you train that your training is free, that school will provide transportation and housing and all food. this is a lie. After you pay for school which ranges from $300-$7,000 yes some may provide housing and some meals. But in the long run this company is not honest and should not be trusted. They have been known to charge a customer more than five times on their card and refused to give them back their money.

  7. private Says:

also, If you call the bbb they have way more than 12 complaints. I employee of the bbb has told me that they had more than 75 against them.

  8. Mike Says:

Hucky, Thanks for that follow-up. We as members appreciate you looking out for us. Keep up the good work brother.

  9. RC Says:

I came to the conclusion that they weren’t legit after the lady I spoke to said a couple of things first off (before I hung up).: 200 something dollars to do a background check, and 2. Stated that the “bodyguard” academy certifies you in all 50 states, when I asked about Texas in particular, she said that it was a universal thing.

  10. john Says:

I submited my paperwork in july to advancement solutions and keep hearing the same things. they will resubmit my paperwork or some people got fired for not doing there job right. I have not date for any trainning and they never get back to you if you leave a message. I am an ESI student and was looking for work to pay for my school at ESI. They are a scam and i dont think i will ever see my money again. I thought about contaction a news station and tell them about advancement solutions. I am very angry about this and about the monye and time i wasted.

  11. Greg Says:

I live about 20 miles from this ?operation. When I ask to come over and see the facility they said it was closed without a clearance. I was also told that I had to go to their school to work for them even though I have been in EP for over 25 years with a federal agency and just returned from a year in Iraq.

  12. PRIVATE Says:

THIS COMPANY HAS CHANGED ITS NAME AGAIN. IT IS NOW INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE SERVICES. THEY HAVE ALSO CHANGES THEIR PHONE NUMBER HE DOES THIS EVERY YEAR. WEBSITE ADDRESS IS INTERNATIONALEXECUTIVES.NET PLEASE CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TO REPORT HIM FOR MIS CONDUCT.IF YOU GO TO BODYGUARDS.ZOOMSHARE.COM IT WILL REDIRECT YOU TO HIS NEW WEBSITE.

  13. Matt Says:

If anyone is interested in getting invovled in causing this company a major headache please let me know. Myself and 3 friends all got scammed by them and their bull#$%^ promisses. Needless to say we are contacting the media and they are needing more people to talk to. If interested please let me know by emailing me at Mattbuglehall@aol.com Thank you.

  14. Sheryl Davis Says:

I hate this company!! and you know what really sucks? The BBB didn’t have any bad reports on them until a full month had passed after my husband registered. Does anyone know if there is a legite company that does this training? (one that doesn’t cost $10,000). Please, if there is a way to expose them, sue them, make them quit taking people’s money let me know. Mizlady777@hotmail.com

  15. Joe Says:

Seems I have been the latest victim? I called in Monday January 22nd, asked about the Counter Terrorist Schooling, I was a fool, and authorized the company $10 to hold my place in the April 9th class since I am in need of the money to take care of other issues. They withdrew the full ammount of $206, when I called about cancelling the fee, first person told me your breaking up, your going to have to call back, and hung up. I called back 20 min later, another person answered. The next guy gave me thier customer service number. called that, it was a voicemail box…..wtf. Ok, so, I get it, I got screwed over, I will NEVER see that money again.

  16. Bryant Says:

Yes these people are total fing scum bags.I was in the military for awhile and after talking to these people and asking questions it is clearly a SCAM. Also does anyone know of any legit services of this kind.I hope these people get whats comming to them

  17. Rick Says:

I recently heard about this company and sent in the $207.00 for the packet. When I received it I knew something was up. In addition to all the mis-spelled words and incorrect grammar, the people at the service number seemed incompetent and very unprofessional. I looked up on google and saw a few people posted about it. Good thing I never sent in the full packet. So without the consent to charge my card sheet, I called my bank and got the $207.00 back. I am also building a report to expose this company nationally. Thanks for the postings everyone. They kept claiming they had legitimate documentation on http://www.state.tn.us/sos under publications. I never found it, even when they gave me directions to find it. They seem to be a clothing and equipment company that are trying to trick people into sending them money with legal representation. This means the person cannot do anything about it once the money has been authorized. Also, they want a card on file for “money back guarantee.” They put that card on file to charge you for the “Class” that you never attend. It ranges from $800-$3500. Several of their numbers have been changed and they tell you to wait 4-6 weeks fro processing so that before you realize you have been scammed, they have scammed plenty of other people also. I am surprised they are still in business.

  18. Dustin Says:

Hey guys and girls i guess they got me too. Matt i need as much info as you can give thanks

  19. Jennifer Kraus Says:

I would love to talk with any of you who have had experiences with this company, especially if you in live in Tennessee. I am an investigative reporter checking out a few leads I’ve gotten on this group. You can either email me at jkraus@newschannel5.com or call me directly at 615-248-5278.

  20. Matt Says:

Hey everyone I finally have a new media outlet in Nashville that is wanting to do a story on this company. If you are interested and would like to get involved let me know. My buddies and I that got taken by this company are going to be heading to IRAQ with the Texas National Guard and want to inflict as much damage to this company as possible. My email is mattbuglehall@aol.com. Send me your contact information and I will copy you on the forward to my news contact. She is with news Channel 5 in Nashville.

  21. paul Says:

man this company stinks like a pile of festering crap……i registered in november of last year and i waited the 4-8 weeks as told and every time i call i keep getting told what i think they feel will please me….i have been given two different class dates …first it was march 19th then it was changed to march 29th due to scheduling errors on the school’s behalf……but when u ask them for names and contact info on the schools they say they cant give it out for security purposes …i am supposed to receive my enrollment packet by tomorrow at the latest or i am to call back and speak to JOHNNY (so called supervisor) who has given me crap info before…well i will keep everyone posted on what he says when i call to tell him i never received the packet……….almost 200 dollars is prolly wasted because they found a way to cheat the system…..SOMEONE NEEDS TO TURN THEM IN TO A NATIONAL EXPOSE TV PROGRAM AND MAYBE IT WILL FORCE THEM TO COME CLEAN

  22. kevin Says:

i too have been screwed by these folks, i spoke to tammy and agent brookins. i have not received a return call for a week and have tried all the numbers listed on their website. i am contacting jennifer kraus at the news station tomorrow. anyone who needs or wants to go ofter this company, let me know. kwcreed@aol.com. email me. myfirst instinct is to make a trip to antioch tn and do some individual counseling. lol

  23. paul Says:

its me again…..march 15th came and guess what??? yeah no paperwork as promised….i spoke to a “kevin Smith” who said the “johnny” supervisor had misinformed me about the alleged class date and basically kept blowing smoke into mirrors thinking i would buy it…..he said he would have a member of A/S management contact me as well as someone from the training facility….that was yesterday…..so i will wait until tomorrow and if no response i will call them back…….they will either get sick of me or settle this manner….i advise the rest of u who havent received results either to pester them as well….my thought is this..if they receive enuff pressure they will have to do something …i will post again when i speak with them again

  24. zach Says:

This company is definetly not real. They don’t know what they are talking about and are not very customer friendly on top of that. So does anyone know of a similar company for overseas close protection?

  25. Timothy J. Murray Says:

They got me as well, but only for the registration fee. After they sent me a packet saying I had been accepted to a school I did some digging and talked to the owner of the school and we came to the conclusion that it is in fact a scam. There are other companies that offer this training. I know of atleast two in the Dallas, TX area.

  26. paul Says:

hey folks ….me again…..on thursday 3-22 i spoke to a \”Sophie\” who says she is a a manger and that any info i had received before was false and that no one in the office was doing thier jobs….she also stated that everyone had been fired and a new crew was in place … i was then assured she personally was sending out a letter confirming my acceptance into 2 different schools and i should receive it in 5-7 days……so i will wait and see…and of course update this board……oh i cant wait to see what happens next…..its like a never ending story……

  27. Jason Says:

I almost paid the registration fee of $184.73 for the bodygaurd position and talked with Tammy but decided to look into them further and ran across all of these comments. So thank you all for exposing them to the public.

My question for Timothy Murray is this: You mentioned two legit companies out of Texas….who are they and how can they be contacted? Thank you in advance for the info.

    Take care all

  28. advancement solutions Says:

    To mr Huky.
The BBB information that has been gathered is from clients who have sighned up for our services without meeting the qualifications and requirments for the training. THIS AGENCY IS NOT A SCAM. This company has legal buisness lic and bothe city and county along with the state to work. We ahve REAL TRAINED INSTRUCTORS AND WE DO GET STUDENTS A JOB. However there are some bad apples and we cant promise employement. Every student must sign a contract to agree with our terms. The terms are as follows. Some schools will charge a fee and some will offer a 2 year contract. If you have received approval from our company then we have done our services to you. If you have not herad anything then this means you either dont have the qualifications. One thing that everyone must know is we are a referral service and NOT THE TRAINING SCHOOL. We are affliated with 2 schools and we process over 360 applications a week. If a student is going overseas then is is not uncommon to take up to 6 months. If a student does not fill out there papper work correct then it will delay the process. Fill free to email the supervisor for at training0688@aol.com thanks 1-866-730-2056

My husband first learned of Advancement Solutions in December 2006 and began the journey in January to what we anticipated to be a new and exciting career for him. We waited patiently to follow up with them after we were certain that there had been enough time passed that certainly the background check was complete. My husband called and was thrilled to learn that the backgound check was approved and he was registered for school. He was first told that the school would be in the Alabama location and he should prepare for the March 19, 2007 class. When a period of time passed and he had not received the package in the mail to RSVP for the class, he placed another call and was told that it (obviusly) had gotten lost in the mail because it had been sent. He was told that he had missed the class as a result of not RSVP to the package, therefore, he would have to be rescheduled for a later date. He was accepting of this and just asked that they send another package out as soon as possible so that he would have the details on where to report. He was told that he would be going to Moyock, NC and we even googled it to see where Moyock was located because we could not find it on the map. We found that it was just South of Chesapeake Bay, VA and that it is approximately 7 hours from our home so he would not be able to get home during the month training period. Again, time passed and no package was received so he called a couple of weeks ago and spoke with Kevin Smith, who not only said that he would put a trace on the package but also shared with my husband that he will be scheduled to attend the secondary training in London, England shortly after completing the initial training. He was told that the transportation to both training locations would be paid for by Advancement Solutions and that he would be paid no more than $700 per week depending upon the days that he trained. He was told that it was up to him as far as the number of days that he trained, he is required to complete the 5 day a week training but he was prepared to add another day since he would be there. Last week, when the package had still not been received, he began following up with them on Thursday and it wasn’t until today (Wednesday) that he actually was able to speak to a live human being. He was told today by Lee Coleman that the information had not yet been sent out. He was told that he had my husband’s appoval information in front of him as they spoke. He was told that he could not confirm that my husband would be attending the April 9, 2007 class as he had been led to believe for the last month AND he was told that there are a couple of schools that they have recently been added – one in Camden, TN and another in Atlanta, GA. He was told that the one in Atlanta is not until June/July and that might be the one that he will be sent to. My husband has been dedicated to his own training program since the first of the year. He is very regimented, has been walking at least 6 miles a day, has dropped 14 pounds for this program and he is ready to move forward!! It is very disheartening for me to stand by and watch someone toy with him this way. I agree with every single one of you in your comments that something needs to be done. Oh yeah, I forgot to add that there was an alert on their website today that mentioned that there was an individual that was calling himself “Bradley Warren” and he was allegedly “scamming” people out of their money somehow through Western Union. It just so happened that last week, we were charged $400 against our credit card and the credit card fraud department discovered it right away and contacted us. I found it rather strange and brought that to my husband’s attention immediately and he contacted their office to let them know what had happened to us. They were very quick to respond to that issue but not when it came to helping my husband. Magically, when I revisited their website later this evening, the alert had been removed from the website, altogether. Kind of strange, don’t you think?? Bottom line with this company, is that if they will simply step up to the plate and follow through with their commitment with my husband, I can see no problem BUT if not, I am with the others of you that say that you would like to expose them for what they are – FRAUDULANT and I would gladly share our story with any media personality that wants to run with the story. I do believe that it is something that deserves national attention because there are affected people not only in the state of Tennessee but all over. We are several hundred of miles from Antioch, Tennessee. By the way, there are more details that I have not talked about because I do not want to write all night long – this is scratching the surface. I look forward to a response from you.
    Something’s gotta give………….

  30. paul Says:

HAHAHAHAHA….I GOT MY PRE-APPROVAL LETTER….GUESS WHATIT SAID I COULD GO TO ONE OF TWO CLASSES ONE COSTS 1250.00 AND ONE 2500.00………..THIS IS NOT AND I REPEAT NOT WHAT I WAS PROMISED….SCAM SCAM SCAM…..JUST LOOK AT ALL THE TYPOS IN THEIR REPLY……TRUST ME I WAS TOLD I DIDNT HAVE TO ACCEPT THOSE OFFERS BUT I WANNA KNOW WHEN THEY PLAN ON GIVING ME MY PAID 3 WEEK TRAINING I WAS PROMISED….

    Hey Folks ~

I remain currently anonymous – my husband and I have now regrouped and are moving forward in a positive way because after all, everything happens for a reason and we learn our best lesson from bad things that may happen in our lives. We are exploring our other options in order for him to pursue going to school to be trained as an Personal Executive Protector and hope that none of you will allow this undesirable company to steal your hope and dreams of pursuing your career. After all, they have already stolen money from each of us. Or at least made the attempt to. I agree with Andrew with regard to filing charges. I think that it is time that we all should come together with our case files and bring this operation down.

We are no longer bitter about what happened to us but we would like to use this experience so that it does not happen to other innocent people. Andrew – I will contact you so that we may discuss what has happened and we would like to hear your recordings. We will be in touch.

You would be amazed at what we have learned in the last several days about this so called company.

I have info on all the security company’s both state side and overseas, the big thing is, well there is no paid training, sorry no such thing. you have to have a worthy background to even think about getting a job with a security company that travels along side the U.S. Military Forces. believe me there are no ordinary joes out here. so if your not prior military with infantry or special forces or communications or a lengthy police background forget it. you cant have prior military with a mos being a cook and think that a company is just gonna spend money on you and drop you in a hot zone. i mean common. how stupid are you. no offense. some of the companies wont even take you if you were in infantry because you shot marksman, they
will only except expert. and believe me i’m not sticking up for this company that cant provide squat. i’m just trying to help and if you want it i can help. just leave your contact info and i’ll get up with you. remember i don’t screw around so don’t with me. i’m in the marines an i just got back from iraq and i see and talk to these guys all the time. best of luck to all

  36. Dustin Says:

Hey guys and gals Well it anyone is going to file Criminal Charges please contact me at hess.dustin@gmail.com. I am sick of this please call our customer care line. I have also been waiting since Nov 06 and i have not heard anything. They say it takes 6 months for us to hear something. Well in my book thats 6 months.

  37. paul Says:

ur a marine?….. yeah right u talk too cocky to be a marine ……usually marines are disciplined enough to know when to act tough and when to act civil……if u are a marine as u claim u are a jarhead and need to readjust to civilian life ….thanks for the words of wisdom and please dont think anyone wants to “screw” with u……anyways …a/s has not contacted me in 2 weeks …at this point im demanding a refund and im getting no where….this training doesnt exsist…..the company is one big scqam and seems like they are making pretty good money…..i wish enough people could band together and file a lawsuit or find a way to expose them nationaly for the scam they are

  38. lane dowe Says:

UMMM that funny Blackwater pays for there training and contarcts overseas. I have applied for this company and I agree I wanted paid training however if Yall would READ there forms it says that they dont promise a job. I am paying to go to school with them. I will inform yall on the training.

  39. paul Says:

ur gonna pay these scam artists MORE money? thats funny…..can u not read all the negitive things about them?…… this company promises one thing and then contridicts it later and makes up new info in hopes people are stupid enough to believe them. i have challenged them both on here and on there customer service line to contact me to prove they are infact a legitimate company and produce the PROMISED results they stated to me when i registered with their service….. i know damn well i meet the requirements they have to supposedly get into their classes. i personally dont believe they have placed anyone in a class or a contracted job. they have no proof of this and a severely negitive reputation with the BBB . if this company was half the company they claim to be there wouldnt be such a bad rep proceeding them…..now if anyone can produce proof that this company has positive results id love to see it … my email is twiztidmonkey13@hotmail.com if anyone wishes to discuss this company with me…..AGAIN I BELEIVE THIS COMPANY TO BE A SCAM AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO MY WORST ENEMY .

  40. paul Says:

its me again folks….i think i might and i stress might….br getting somewhere. i demanded a refund due to lack of results within a set time and i was told they will send me a form that requests a cancelation/refund along with a letter explaining my reason for such demand. hopefully they grant it and i will be done with this filthy scam for good. i recommend everyone who has registered do thye same

  41. Andrew Henel Says:

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! I SAY IT AGAIN, THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. I was told in December that I would be scheduled for the March 19th 07 class, and that didn\’t happen. Then I was told I would be scheduled for the March 29th 07 class because they overbooked the 19th date or the April 06 date. Of course that didn\’t happen. And neither did the April 6th 07 class. No surprise here but that didn\’t happen. PLEASE, if you have submitted an application and gave SS #\’s file a criminal complaint against this company and go online to the Federal Trade Commission and report your I.D. as stolen. Anytime you give personal information under a false pretense, IT IS I.D. theft. I have recorded these so called \”agents\” and the information they tell you on the phone is straight out lies. FILE A COMPLAINT!!!! I can not stress this enough. I had to have my entire family issue theft of personal information with the FTC because of this company. This person and/or people are criminal(s). DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Advancement Solutions LLC is no longer advertising in the paper (Nickel Ad\’s) where I saw their solicitation ad. My cell number is 541-915-3642. My email is andrewh8b@yahoo.com

  42. Andrew Hengel Says:

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, IT IS A SCAM.
Please contace me at andrewh8b@yahoo.com or cell # 541-915-3642

  43. Private Investigator Says:

I am personally investigating this company and have just a little information I can share about International Executive Services LLC/Advance Solutions LLC.
Everyone should know that Mr. Lee Coleman, the primary registered agent for this company has prior criminal convictions for I.D./Credit card fraud.
The address listed on his website belongs to a mail box rental company, which is known to be commonly use by scam artist. If you research some of the legitimate companies, (i.e. Blackwater USA, Triple Canopy, Inc., SMG-SMC, Halliburton, DynCorp International, etc.) You will find that every one of them lists their true brick & Mortar address. You can even physically visit the company.
If you feel the recruitment people gave you false information to get you to sign up, then I suggest you initiate a criminal complaint through the Tennessee FBI and State Attorney’s office. You should also call your local FBI and State Attorney’s office as well.
Hope this information is of use to everyone. Good luck!

  44. Amy Says:

Private investigator – do you know for sure that he has prior cc fraud and id theft…My husband was also scammed from this company however, a couple of months ago we found that someone use our bank card and attempted to send themselves money to a Western Union location in Nashville TN. The name we got from Western Union was Kevin Smith (could be a false name of course). The card that was used was my husbands and it is rarely used, however who ever used are card had to have our home address, the three security digits on the back of the card, along with card number. Advancement Solutions had this information when he paid them over the phone.

We have suspected them! Has this happen to any of you!!

  45. private Says:

I find it strange that if this company is a scam then why have they been doing buisness for over 4 years at the same location. So what they have a po box alot of companies do for security reasons and bulk mail. As far as I can see alot of you just want something for free and if yall would read the fine print or the forms you got IT SAYS SOME SCHOOLS WILLCHARGE. I guess you just dont get it. Im sticking up for this agency because I got results and I did have to wait a while.

  46. private Says:

Ricky Lee Coleman has verifible criminal charges against him. He is a felon and has a record. He has impersonated police officers, had other credit card scams, has even gone as far as to try to issue tickets to people that he has pulled over. There is something not right with this guy.

  47. Bo Says:

These idiots dont have a clue and its sad but they are going to rip off the wrong person one of these days. There is always a way to find these people, even if they operate out of an apartment. Anyone can be tracked.

  48. Bo Says:

ANYONE WHO BACKS UP THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO POST UP INFO AND CONTACT DATA TO BACK THEIR CLAIM. DONT GO BLOWING SMOKE.

PRIVATE SAYS HE DOES SUPPORT IT….?
WE DONT BELIEVE CRAP…POST UP THE INFO OR EMAIL IT TO HUCKY TO CHECK ON IT.
OTHERWISE WE DONT WANT TO HEAR SHE SAID/ HE SAID.

  49. Craig Says:

Okay, I got taken for a big ride with Advancement Solutions. I wasted 4 months. If any one wants to talk or ask questions about what has been said and promised please contact me via-email. I would love to see them go down. And they even still have a website up and running. Promising work and training. Something has to be done soon. I sure would like to help bring this so called company down. So bodyguards beware.

  50. Bo Says:

WOW, ADVANCED SOLUTIONS MADE A COMMENT TRYING TO JUSTIFY THEIR EXISTENCE.
NICE TRY BUT YOU DID NOT SEND THE BBB THE INFORMATION THEY REQUESTED REGARDING PROOF OF PEOPLE MAKING THE HOURLY WAGE AND OTHERS MAKING THE YEARLY WAGE.

YOU DONT HAVE ANY EXCUSE…THE BBB GIVES EVERYONE PLENTY OF TIME TO RESPOND TO A CLAIM AGAINST THEM.

THIS IS YOUR INTEGRITY ON THE LINE A YOU DIDNT GIVE A CRAP.

  51. D.W. Says:

I think there might be enough of us here to start something. I live in Alabama and am going to Antioch here in a few days to locate the operation. Maybe those of us who have been scammed can raise some sort of lawsuit against this company. A company that scams it protectors, mainly veterans and prior law enforcement, is just UNAMERICAN and should be dealt with. I have already contacted my states congressman, the American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and I have there support.

  52. D.W. Says:

This post is for Mr. Private up there. I was told by this company that Blackwater USA and Triple Canopy both hire through this companies training centers. Let me tell you that Neither company does business with Advancement Solutions LLC or International Executive Services LLC. Mr. Private, I dont suppose you might work for one of these companies, do you? Also, this company messed up and tried to tell people that they do training here in my neck of the woods, Huntsville, AL, and that was a blatent lie. Now they say the training compound there is secret or underground or some crazy Area 51 crap like that. Amtec is the company supposedly doing the training there. I called the course instructor there and he was as baffled as I was plus, he told me they are not a “secret” training compound, duh. I have contacted several government agencies about this company and they are getting very interested in this companies so called counter terrorism school. Those of you looking to get a refund beware, you have to send the “registration company” an excuse letter to qualify to get your money back. I dont think these guys stand a chance in court.

  53. D.W. Says:

By the way I can be contacted at ml32080@msn.com

  54. Hector A. Falu Says:

I too have done my own private research on this company. I received a call from one of their secretaries, who was busy talking to someone while leaving me a message. She told me that their hours of operation were from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. C.S.T. When she realized her error she just hung up the phone. Then, when I tried to call her back, she answered the phone while still being in this conversation she had, then hung the phone right up. I was called by an Adrian Robbie Wood who told me that I could be enrolled in a school of my choice of Cincinnati, Indianapolis, or Columbus, Ohio. Then he asked if I can pay the $184 dollars now. Yes, this company is a joke. I wouldn’t mind seeing them get shut down. I am enrolling with ESI. They are the most professional company I have dealt with in a long time. Their sales representatives still keep in contact with me and are very upfront. Their schooling price is well worth it to me. With my marketing and network skills I can find my own jobs.

  55. D.W. Says:

Yeah ESI is pretty good at keeping their word. CRI is a real good school as well, I havent heard anything negative yet.

  56. ADVANCEMENT SOLUTIONS,LLC Says:

Please keep in mind, that we are not the only company that sends resumes to training facilities. These facilities are bombarded daily by people just like yourself, who are seeking high paying positions and you must surely know that with the selection they have to choose from, that they will indeed consider only those with the highest levels of education and military, etc. training. For these reasons, we do not promise a position, but by sending your information to the best facilities, we in turn give you the opportunity for a high paying career. What we do is legal. It is not a scam. Not everyone will be accepted, and our company has no control over the decisions that are made by individual facilities. We are not affiliated with them, we only give your information to them in order for you to be considered for a rewarding career. Some of the complaints we receive are from individuals who either did not meet the background requirements or weapons experience needed to qualify. They call our customer service lines wanting to know why they were not accepted and of course, the reasons are obvious. Others meet the requirements, but for reasons known only by the facilities, they are not accepted. As we mentioned, they accept only those with the highest standards. We are at the present time working with a training facility in Tn. that offers quality training and upon completion of your training, they work with you to help get you into a suitable position for your qualifications. Their work positions rate is 93%. They do charge a fee, but with the training they offer, the fee is well worth the final outcome, a high paying job. THE CHOICE IS ULTIMATELY UP TO YOU.

  57. Jim Says:

Whatever they’re doing, they’ve created a middle man where there is no need for one. Anyone can apply on their own. A 3rd party just messes up the process. I’d bet that the “training facilities” ( if they ever even got an application from this place ) aren’t aware that they aren’t dealing directly with the applicant. NEVER PAY TO GET A JOB.

  58. David Says:

I have been waiting for a school position for 9 months now. How much longer do I have to wait ? I am a highly trained marine and have qualified with most of the weapons used in the Corps so that non-qualification line doesnt fly. A/S says send 2 money orders one they cash to process you and one the training school cashes when they process you, well both of my money orders has been cashed along time ago and I am still awaiting school. I have already attended 2 schools( ITG and CrossRoads defensive Driving) while waiting to be sent to one school by yall. So when the people find a way to prosecute you I am with them.

  59. Don Says:

    Ladies and Gentleman,
I started the original post warning about this company. I have been in the protection industry for along time. With all the negative posts about this company why do you continue to send them money? I under the desire to participate in the industry, but you must research very carefully before you submit money to anyone promising you anything. Any company with a BBB history should be enough to tell you to avoid them.

The best advice to those that have been ripped is to contact the TN and your states State Attorney office and file a complaint. Good luck to all.

  60. ADVANCEMENT SOLUTIONS, LLC Says:

FOLLOWUP ON CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST OWNER OF ADVANCEMENT SOLUTIONS, LLC
As to the criminal charge of police impersonation, these charges were dismissed.
As to the criminal charge of credit card fraud, the owner was very young at the time of this incident. The card belonged to a roommate and he purchased a PIZZA with the card. He paid restitution. This is America and as long as the owner has paid his debt to society, he should have the same right as anyone else in regards to operating a business. This company feels as though many of these complaints are unfounded and that the owner is being potrayed as a criminal. Many of the comments you read on this site are customers who have been, in our opinion, misled by the BBB, who do not seem to mention the customers that we have come to an agreement with. DO NOT BE SO QUICK TO JUDGE AGAINST THIS COMPANY, WITHOUT HAVING ALL THE FACTS.

  61. Hector A. Falu Says:

In the words of the Rock, ‘That’s ten pounds of monkey crap in a five pound bag! to Advanced Solutions. You need to give these people their money back if you are not going to train them. It doesn’t cost that much to do a background check. I have a security company, and most background check information from the 2004 U.S. Security Guard Act passed by Pres. Bush makes it literally free to do a full background check!

  62. Robbie Wood Says:

I am registration agent Robbie Wood with IES.
I am sure that I have registered many of the people who have aired their grivances on this web site.
A lot of what I have read is a matter of assumptions without fact. Each and every individual who has registered with IES is well aware that IES is not a training facility and does not guarantee job placement. We are a referral service and no one has ever been promised a job by IES!
What all these individuals fail to mention is that they received their paperwork and had an opportunity to read every word of that paperwork. They knew from reading the paperwork that IES did not guarantee job placement. Only that IES will refer them to potential training facilities across the country and if that trainjing facility feels that individual meets all of their requirments, then they maybe offered paid training and a contract upon completetion of the training.
What these folks on this web site are complaining about mostly is they can\’t get a refund. IES is not in the refund business. If you cannot participate because of illness and you provide a doctors statement stating such, you can apply for a refund.
If you do not graduate from a training facility you provide the school transcripts documenting that you did not graduate you can apply for a refund.
Now to the BBB report that one disgruntled individual posted.
What a joke the BBB is.
There are not very many companies that have not had some kind of complaint lodged against them by a disgruntled client such as the ones here on this web site at one time or another.
International Executive Services LLC /Advancement Solutions, LLC does not have a good relationship with the BBB and if your company has any complaints lodged against it, neither will you.
They are a non profit organization that will have people against you without factual reasons. Sinply because the BBB said so!
However the BBB\’s information was gathered from disgruntled clients whom registered for IES services without meeting the qualifications and or the requiremtns for the training to begin with. The BBB\’s report is inaccurate and unfounded.
There have never been 75 complaints lodged against IES (As one person said on this web page) there have only been 17 complaints and most of those have been resolved by IES.
I think that anyone reading this will have to agree that 17 complaints in four years against a company that has dealt with thousands of clients is a pretty good record.

Why out of thousands do we have a handfull of people on the soap box complaining?
    Because they can!
International Executive Services LLC /Advancement Solutions, LLC at one time had a good standing with the BBB. However, when IES refused to divulge personal & confidental information on clients and potential employers for the BBB to scrutnize.
IES refused to release information to the BBB. IES not give, sale or otherwise divulge personel information to anyone. The BBB, News Channel Five or anyone else.

Someone complained that we use a P.O Box to receive our mail. IES deals in large volumes of mail and needs to receive its mail at the Post Office. There are many large companies & cooperations that use P.O. Box # (Bellsouth is a prime example of this P.O. Box 105503 Atlanta Ga, 30348-5503), just because a company uses the Post Office to receive its mail do we assume it is a scam?)
We do not give our physical address simply for security reasons. We don\’t know when some psyco may walk into our office branishing a weapon talking about he/she wants a refund. Eventually you will be able to walk into the offices of IES and speak with an Agent etc.
The bottom line is your complaints are without merit and simply you are using this web site to advance you cause to discredit IES because you did not qualify for a refund. That is what its all this bad pubicity is all about.
International Executive Services LLC /Advancement Solutions, LLC is not out to take anyone\’s money without providing a service. WE ARE NOT A SCAM, and there are jobs available to those who are accepted into a training program and graduate.

    International Executive Services

  63. Mike Says:

I have to agree with Jim. Why would you use a third party that charges a fee to place you into a school that charges you a fee. All the training locations and courses that this company says they offer are from other reputable schools. Matter of fact, most of the schools that they have on their website are listed on this website on the training schools link. One of the items they charge you for is a background check. Guess what? Most schools conduct background checks as part of you admission process so why are they conducting a check? So they can have the information for their own shits and giggles.
As far as the statement that they said that “WHAT WE DO IS COMPLETELY LEGAL”

  64. Mike Says:

Sorry. I accidently pressed the submit comment button.
“What we do is completely legal”. Just because it is legal does not make it RIGHT!!!! For all of you who have checked their website out recently, you should have seen it about four months ago. They actually posted that they have training facilities all around the world and you get to pick out which location is best for you. Places like Moyack NC=Blackwater, Aspen,CO ESI, Arkansas=Trojan, Tennesee=Tactical Response or Olive etc, etc…… They actually said that these were there facilities. Now they have revised their website. I wonder why???
I just got off their website and they offer a distance education program. They say that this program is for people who can’t attend the training academy but still want to be a “Bodyguard”. Actually the distance education program they are referring to is Executive Security International’s Advanced Executive Protection Program. Yes, it is a distance education program but it is not designed for people who CAN’T ATTEND. It is designed to further educate the Executive Protection Agent on various topics such as emergency medicine, manners, intelligence gathering etc. You still have to attend the course. They charge you $600.00 for processing. What are they processing. It took me 5 minutes to fill the paperwork out and fax it back. After that they sent me a packet to fill out which took me all but 30 minutes (it took that long because Sallie Mae provides financing to attend so I had to fill that paperwork out.) You can also use your GI Bill.
You know what. If you decide to attend ESI email me @ mbatenga@protectors.org and I will set you up with a counselor for free. Yeah free. NOT $600.00!!!!
This industry is a very small tight knit community and your reputation is everything in this business. Don’t spoil your reputation by associating with these snake oil salesman.
This business is about protecting people and assets and all you are doing Mr. Ricky Lee Coleman is hurting people and taking their assets.!!!!!!

” YOU CAN POLISH A TURD ONLY SO MUCH”

  65. BO Says:

I hope all of you received the email from Hucky regarding this comapnies response claiming they never promise anything.

Listen guys…this company does claim an hourly wage along with a yearly wage and from what I see, there are guys that have been waiting a long time to get in this school.
Also, also, also…Better Busines Bureau does not accept BS claims against companies. Further more, when the BBB investigates the claims, it gives the companies numerous opportunities for rebutal against the claimant. Read the BBB at the top of this page.
The BBB is like the court for all businesses in this country and if this company is found guilty then it is. I dont care about criminal charges and all this smoke. Heck OJ and Blake got off for murder. BBB only care about companies integrity and proper and credable operations.

This company is not worth a three legged dog in a race.
They are dishonest and there is too much BS on their record.

  66. Mike Says:

If any of you who feel like you have been scammed by this company. There are other avenues that you can take. http://www.ripoffreport.com is a great site to report any wrongdoing by this organization.
Sorry I am venting but it is hard enough to get paid what you are worth in the everchanging executive protection field. Undercutting, underbidding, oversaturation are just a few of the problems that EP agents are facing. We don’t need some scam artist putting a potential EP Agent in a financial Hole before they even get into the business.

  67. D.W. Says:

Does anyone have any other suggestions beside filing a complaint with the state attorneys office? I find it hard to believe that is our only hope for retribution.

  68. D.W. Says:

I cant believe they are still trying to justify their actions, they are saying not everyone will be accepted. I was supposedly accepted by one of their training schools but never was set up with a class date that stuck. First it was march 19 then march 29 then april 9 now its some time in june or july I really dont care. All I ask is for a refund and to never do business with you again. I was also told by Mr. Landen at A/S LLC that the training was performed by accredited schools , also not true. The GI Bill will not cover this training I checked it out so dont try to say otherwise. It has been a pleasur as always. Later

  69. Robbie Wood Says:

It is defintly obvious that this web site is bias towards IES, LLC.
IES responded on this web site to the unfounded claims of a hand full of individuals.
However, the website owners deleted the response because it already knows that by controversy they can get more hits on their website and at the same time discredit a reputable business.
It is a shame that bodyguard careers whatever has to stoop to these tactics to gain a following. WOW!

  70. J Monteith Says:

internationalecexutives.com is a scam. I have done alot of research on them. email me for info

  71. Hucky Says:

Robbie that is not true. We have not deleted any of IES, LLC. responses, we have given both sides an equal opportunity to weight in on this subject and will continue to do so. An with regard to your accusation that we are just trying to generate traffic at IES, LLC expense, that would be false as well

IT IS VERY SAD THAT YALL HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO. THIS ENUENDOS IS BEING TORN, STRECHED, AND BOWN OUT OF PORTION SO YALL GO AHEAD YALL SOUND LIKE A BUNCH OF OLD NAGGING WOMEN IN A TRAILER PARK. this is my last time on here yall can have it.
IT LOOKS LIKE YALL WANT SOMETHING FOR FREE LIKE A SIX FIGURE JOB. SORRY YOU MUST PUT OUT TO MAKE MONEY.
GOOD LUCK IES AND ADVANCEMENT SOLUTIONS,LLC

  74. D.W. Says:

I have spoke with Robbie Wood on the phone personally. I cant say I care for his attitude too much either. All I did was call their stupid registration center to find out why my class dates had been pushed back and he tries to give me attitude like Im a lower life form or something. So anyway, Robbie tells me I have to call personell at 615-731-0917 and ask them, and I did, the only problem is the personnel department rarely answers its phone and has never called me back on a left message and on occasion when they do answer the phone all I get is some chump on the the other end who has no idea what they are talking about. I sent in for my refund 2 weeks ago and I havent even been contacted by this company to tell me whether or not I qualify for a refund or not. Oh and Robbie for your comment on this being a bias website, it isnt. There are other websites and other agencies besides the BBB looking into your actions as we speak. Good day sir.

    Advancement Solutions, LLC
    5341 Mt. View Rd. #167
    Antioch, TN 37013

    Dear Sir or Ma’am

I am sorry that I will not be able to do business with you. I had a previous engagement that I must fulfill overseas with another firm and I cannot wait until June or July for a class to possibly open up. Besides, when I first signed up I was not told that class dates were subject to change. I had a class for March 19th , March 29th , and April 9th and all of these dates have come and gone. I was not even given a courtesy call by Advancement Solutions, LLC or the “school” that I was supposedly going to attend. If that’s not bad business I don’t know what is. I did get a hold of Amtec in Huntsville, AL and they had no idea who you were or that they were doing any training for you and every other bodyguard/counter terrorism school that I have spoke with had only negative things to say about Advancement Solutions and International Executive Services. Blackwater USA told me in an e-mail that they would have nothing to do with you. I was told by someone in your personnel dept. that Blackwater USA hired through the schools you are promoting. So, that being said, I cannot and will not do business with you ever again. You have taken a lot of money from veterans and prior law enforcement personnel. These people deserve more respect than what your company has shown them and I would like a full refund for every penny I have sent to Advancement Solutions, LLC. Thank you for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    D.W.

Ladie and Gents, this is the exact letter I sent to A/S LLC, IES LLC. How many of you think this qualifies for a refund?

  76. D.W. Says:

Well private, I dont think anyone on this site is going to miss you haus and IES/AS LLC will probably need alot of luck to get out of this mess. I just received an e-mail from Robbie Woods stating that I could upgrade to another course if I pay an additional $75 upgrade fee and the cost of course differential. HAHAHA, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. They cant even get me into a bodyguard course. What is this, brain surgery?

  77. Don H. Says:

I read Advanced Solutions orininal response, what theyare saying sort of makes sense, if it is true….
However my question would be WHY, why bother with these folks, if you own a computer, have a good resume, and am qualified for the job, apply apply, you don’t need these folks to send your resume in for you, after all you don’t take your mom on a job interview do you? Stick with Hucky, they will give you the leads don’t bother with these fly by night types…Good Hunting…..Don Hudson CPO firedawg70_77@juno.com

  78. Dave Says:

Robbie Wood- how long does one have to wait to get to school ? i have been waiting since Sept and I have not recieved a call. When you were A/S you said you had 36 schools state side and 17 over seas and still I havent been accepeted.

Don H – they told me I would get paid while in training with my Military background, sounds like something BlackWater promoted. they also said they promoted jobs in South America which is where I applied to go work. So they have done nothing but lied and scammed the whole time. So they should be exposed and prosecuted.

  79. D.W. Says:

I agree with you Dave. A/S LLC did not even give a courtesy call to let me know my class date had been pushed back. As a matter of fact this school has never contacted me first on any occasion. Customer service is right out the door here. Even the scummiest businessmen I have ever delt with at least had the cods to call me and tell me I was being screwed over.

  80. peter A Says:

In response to Paul\’s comment above: I have phone recordings of this company stating that your training is completely paid for, transportation to and from the training facility is paid for and you will also receive $150.00 per day while in training. I have AT LEAST THREE recordings promising this. Also as each of you were probably told, I was scheduled a training date at the time I registered. So if this company is third party headhunters then what are they doing scheduling people for training? THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND THE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS. EVERYONE NEEDS TO FILE CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS WITH THE OFFICE OF ATTORNEY GENERAL IN TN. & IN YOUR OWN STATE. ALSO FILE AN FBI COMPLAINT IN TN.(615) 232-7500

  83. private L.C Says:

    Dear Lee,

Because I believe in you, your company and what your trying to do, I sent this email out over the ESI international network to help keep this situation under control.

    To All Concerned,

I usually don\’t get involved in these matters, but since I know alittle
about this company, I thought I\’d share with you what I know. I just noticed an
email come over the net regarding the business practices of International
Executive Services, LLC. Though I am not defending this company, (and I may be
putting myself out on a limb here) I believe in all fairness, that the facts
should also be stated along with the allegations made against this company.
Before this thing gets blown out of proportion, I thought I would share with you
what I have recently learned. I met the owner of IES Lee (Rickey) Coleman
and did some investigatation on my own. From what I know International
Executive Services, LLC has been a legit business since they started in 2005. They
act as a professional referral service, (nothing more – nothing less). They
don\’t promise jobs to anyone upon completion of training, which is conducted by
outside contractors, ie: Tactical Response and others; what they do, is upon
completion of training, they help professionally prepare your resume, market
you your skills and submit your resume to companies seeking your skills
    qualifications.

It is my understanding that, the news report involving the three guys on TV
    - were all legit clients, but were actually lied to by a former employee of
IES named Bradley D. Warren, who during his employment there, told clients
that (they were guaranteed employment) after they completed their training
through IES. When these guys didn\’t get what they were told, they were furious,
who wouldn\’t be. Since then Mr. Warren has been fired. And Lee Coleman has been
doing damage control since. Lee Coleman, filed a criminal charge against Mr.
Warren for misrepresenting his company IES, which I personally checked and
verfied through Detective Mike Smith of the Metro Police Department out there,
today. I also spoke with Tactical Response and verified with them that Lee
Coleman and IES has been doing good business with them for quite some time. As
far as the allegations of a \”lengthy\” criminal record against Lee Coleman is
concerned, I found that he used a friends credit card without his permission
to buy a pizza! His friend didn\’t appreciate having his credit card used
without his knowing and pressed charges against him. As far as the impersonation
of a policeman charge, it was thrown out of court for lack of evidence, no
time spent in jail. As you know, we all make mistakes and and if your in the
public spotlight and make one, the media and others can spin it out of control
and reputations are ruined. I suggested to Lee Coleman that he take a
closer look at his website to ensure that he is in fact offering what his company
claims to offer so that it won\’t be taken out of context. In closing, until
something comes up that convinces me otherwise, I see nothing wrong with Mr.
Coleman, IES or the services that he offers. I hope this helps.

    Prof. L.C. Holifield, CPS
President, International Academy of Executive Protection Agents, LLC.

  85. D.W. Says:

I received in the mail today a letter confirming my placement in a CT school in Camden, Tenn. This is the second time they have sent me this letter and there is a catch. the tuition went from about $1500 to over $ 3000 dollars. HEHE, I think somebody messed up.

  86. Guest Says:

I just wanted to clarify a few facts that were contained in the above letter from L.C. Holifield. Ricky Lee Coleman was charged with 13 counts of financial transaction card theft in 1998. He pleaded guilty to counts 1 thru 4. Yes, one of the counts involved the purchase of a pizza from Dominos with the credit card that was not his. Other counts were for much larger amounts ($402 charge to Pure Oil, $$312.35 to Pure Oil, $33.66 to Pizza Hut, and $49.90 from something described as a ‘money making program,’ among others.) This was a felony charge and he was given 3 years probation which he violated.
As for impersonating an officer charge in Georgia, it was NOT dismissed. Mr. Coleman pled guilty to this charge and was given a suspended sentence of 5 years. When he violated the terms, he was ordered to serve one year in jail. In the incident in question, Mr. Coleman was carrying two handguns, a fake law enforcement badge, handcuffs, and a radio. According to the transcript, Ricky’s mother told the judge that he had always wanted to be a police officer.
In another incident in Tennessee, a police report states he was using a retired police car, with blue flashing lights, to make traffic stops and issue fake citations.
Mr. Coleman had his right to drive a vehicle taken away for 3 years by a judge in December of 2004, yet he continues to drive every day in apparent violation of that order. One of the vehicles he drives is a brand new truck, probably paid for by ‘tuition’ money he collects.

As for the letter from ‘Professor’ Holifield, I would urge you to investigate the credentials Mr. Holifield claims to hold. I have serious questions about the BS, Masters and Doctorate degrees he claims to have received from the American College of Martial Sciences’ Homeland Security Institute in Indiana. This is apparently associated with the Kingdom Harvest Bible College which they claim exempts them from any type of federal or state accreditation. A bible college running a Homeland Security Institute????? Anyone else find that laughable?
I would urge you to question and verify the claims that any individual makes over the internet, do not just take things at face value.
To date, Mr. Coleman has not been able to verify that ONE single person has received training or a job through his company.

  87. P.LANDER Says:

i GUESS THIS MEANS WE NEED TO INVESTIGATE YOUR POST AS WELL??????

  88. ATT GUEST Says:

  89. D.W. Says:

    Mr. holifield,

I have been lied to by every person that I have talked to at IES aka Avancement Solutions LLC. Sounds to me like A/S might be having some of their own people from Antioch get on here and post comments to try and clear their name. The fault here is on A/S LLC, not the folks who got scammed. Like the Mrs. Kraus said, this company has targeted highly skilled veterans of the US military and law enforcement. This is unacceptable and very unpatriotic. You people should be ashamed to call yourselves American. I am a vet and I will be seeking retribution.

    D.W.

  90. D. W. Says:

I am posting the ad for A/S LLC. This was in the local paper May 3rd 2007.

I urge anyone supporting this companies legitamacy to call this number and find out for youself how crooked these guys are.

  91. Guest Says:

It’s interesting that P.Lander (post 87) and ATT Guest (post 88) both have the same style/issue with capital letters! Hey Ricky, most educated people use a capital letter for the first word in a sentence. At least make an effort to differentiate when you are attempting to post under multiple names.

And as for investigating the info in my post, I would encourage it. Like I said, don’t take what anyone says over the internet at face value, check it out for yourselves. If you want to know which public record or goverment document I obtained the info from, just ask and I’ll tell you where to find it. Maybe I’ll even email it to you. Other than calling me full of $&*, you didn’t dispute one fact.

  92. private Says:

The end is near. I only wish that those of you that have been taken advantage of would get some glory out of this information. There have been many of veterans who have come home from protecting our country’s freedom to find out that the government will not offer them what they deserve. Most only want a job to be able to take care of their families and when they hear about the great opportunities that ADVANCEMENT SOLUTIONS/NET WORTH GROUP/INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVES can give them they take what little money they have and invest in a future for their families. Unfortunately it never happens. Some people in this world only think about money and where can they get it.. Ricky Coleman found a way to take away from the people that need to be honered the most… the men and women that have faught for our freedom. It was a wonderful idea to help veterans and police personell to find good paying jobs, even charging a fee for his services is justified but what isn’t is the fact that he stops at taking the money. Nothing more about his clients matter. If he cared about his clients at all some of them would have gotten their money back because they did not get what they were promised. In all reality I don’t ever think that his intentions were to do something great for our vets, only to fill his pockets with cash. Yes he has met his goal. I only wish that I had written documentation of the money he has made. I can only say that from a reliable source it has been over a million dollars this year.. and that is a conservative figure.I got the idea about this business from him, I thought it was a wonderful idea. but soon after I started my business I realized just how fake everything was. I have since then changed the way that I have do business. I am trying very hard to find jobs for our vets and police officers including those with no experience that just want to help protect those in our country that need the additional security. Right now I have a great contact that will assist those looking for work as bodyguards, and I haven’t had any complaints yet. I know that I have not made as much money as Rick, but I am honest and try my best to help the clients that need my services. I strive each and everyday to improve what I have to offer and I hope that one day that I will have just as many people writing about my company but saying only how I have helped them find the job of their dreams. Ii know that that sounds really mushy and something that would come from a “Woman” but as each day passes I have come to realize that there are more and more people out their that have the dream of having a good paying job protecting others from harm and right now I am enjoying helping those fulfill those dreams. It is a work in progress that gets better every day. Rick is making it hard for me to stay in business because of the bad business he is doing. But in the long run good conquers evil. I am not here to promote my business at all. That is why I do not reveal it’s name but it is time for Rick to step up to the plate and take responsibility for all he does. He can blame all on Bradley Warren but he was doing all of this before he(Bradley Warren) came around. Rick wants to put the blame on someone else. What kind of man is that??? $Rick you are digging a bigger hole for yourself, stop while you still can before it gets worse. The really bad thing is that you have let your family get involved in your scam and they might, unfortunately pay the price like you will. I hope they can forgive you after all is said and done. Rick I know that you will be furious with me after this but I know that it is best that the truth be told. Even though they might not know it, you know they all will be hurt by this. This year i thought that you might get a handle on things and straight up your business. But the income you are making was more important than anything else. I know you are capable of many things for I have known you for many years and my name doesn’t have to be given because you know who I am. I will now fear for my safety and the safety of my child. But I NOW KNOW IT ALL HAD TO BE SAID. You can respond to this letter anyway you like it will not change the facts. THE FACTS ARE ALL THAT MATTER.

  93. private Says:

Rick, one other thing, I don’t appreciate you stealing ideas off of my website and my ads that i run… I have worked hard for what I have no matter what you might think. I can also say that what I have is for real and not a scam like you once told me you were running.

  94. D.W. Says:

Its all gravy now. I think someone might end up going back to jail huh. What do you think Mr. Coleman?

SO FAR ALL IS GREAT ON MY SIDE.

  98. robbed by brad Says:

Brad Warren is now working for this company that come out from IES it appears. why else would a supposively reputable company hire a guy when they know he has scamed money from people while woring at IES ( line 92) I have dealt with this crowd and any company that would hire Brad Warren to work for it is asking for trouble. This dude is a scam artist and if these folks think we are going to deal with them they must all be on dope .

  99. attn Says:

wat the hell is cars ???? mr lamb that is D.W your bank decided we where in the right so what does this tell everyone. we are sick and tired of all this gossip and lillian is running the same as the company she worked for. Thats right folks she has worked for Advancement Solutions along with her family . So lets stop it. The bottom line is she wants all the money since we are in the same buisness. Ies is legal and this is the end of our response. We feel that we are too professional for this horse crap.Anyone as any comments email us at traininig@internationalexecutives.net or training0688@aol.com . We have helped customers with jobs and we do offer training through schools . We will not give out the names for the simple reason that someone would call and destroy our credit with them. So if we are a scam why do we spend thousands on sending students to training every month.

  100. FORMER EMPLOYEE Says:

I am a former employee of IES.Alot has been blamed on me by Mr coleman. He has not only made claims but filed charges against me stateing that I stole $ from him via Western Union. In fact I did obtain them in my name but turned over every red cent over to him.The reason I would get them is he would be too intoxicated (on whatever)to pick them up himself. After working there a while I began to find credit card reports that had been charged 1,2 sometimes up to 5 times. When asking Mr Coleman about this he simply laughed.I gave up my position with IES and soon after recieved threats from Mr Coleman.I believe he was scared I was gonna tell on him about the way he was conducting his company.Well I guess his fear has became reality. As far as comment #62 by “Robbie Wood”,he says that IES has only 17 complaints in it’s 4 year life.In fact the BBB has over 300 complaints and when I say over it is most likely way over because the BBB stop keeping up after 300.In paragraph #8 of comment #62 “Mr Wood” states ‘Why out of thousands do we have a hand full of people complaining?C’mon Mr Wood,EVERONE is complaining! You know that and so does everyone else.In the last paragraph of comment #62Mr Wood states they do not give there physical address for security purposes. This I must agree is true.BECAUSE IES IS A SCAM!!!The company I work for now states it’s physical address on it,s BBB report. And we too have a P.O. Box due to a high volume of mail so don’t use that as another excuse.IF ies IS NOT A FRAUDULANT COMPANY THEN WHY DON’T THE EMPLOYEES THERE USE THERE REAL NAMES “Robbie Wood”?Like Ricky Lee Coleman Jr.He used to use the name “Tim Conwell”.I want everyone to think about that last name,”Conwell”.I want to apologize to each and eveyone that I signed up with IES as I was following instructions from Mr Coleman. Please don’t get me wrong.I by no means am an angel. But I can honestly say that I am 100% innocent of ANY of the claims that has been imposed by Ricky Lee Coleman,Jr.(Mr.Conwell).I can say that the reason I left IES is because I could no longer be a part of his fraudulant feasco which is not located at 5341 Mt View Rd like the people tell you but is in fact located at 845 BELL ROAD ANTIOCH,TENNESSEE.The suite numbers include #109,#219,and#221 with Mr.Colemans office being #109.He is renting office space from Paragon Managment Group owned by John Payne and he (John) can be reached at 615-731-4767.I must add that I am absolutley positive that Mr. Payne has nothing to do withany of the said criminal acts by Mr.Coleman.I will be commenting more at a later date because I have much more to tell.I will be limited at what I can release though for I am currently working with (not) at News Channel 5,previous cients of IES,and local, state and federal officials concerning this soon to be over matter.

  101. HA HA Mr Coleman! Says:

Advancement Solutions 845 Bell Road Suite 109,219,221 Ricks office is 109 Nashville,Tennessee 37013.Rick,you shouldnt make FALSE CHARGES on former employees that did NOTHING but follow your instructions.I wish you luck because I assure you that you will need it.

  102. Tactical Response Says:

Because we were mentioned in the email posted above I was sent a link to this thread to set the record straight about Tactical Response’s involvement with Ricky Lee Coleman, International Executives and Advancement Solutions.

Tactical Response has no formal business relationship with Mr. Coleman. In early May he registered 5 students for two of our classes. After reading the News Channel 5 article I contacted the students directly and asked to hear their side of the story for how they came to be registered for our courses. Universally they all had terrible experiences with Mr. Coleman’s company and all said that they had been ripped off. I offered to refund their tuition if they did not want to attend the classes or they could remain on the rosters and complete the training but with realistic expectations of what the training is and what it isn’t.
After speaking with the 5 students I contacted Mr. Coleman and told him that we would not accept any further registrations from him or his companies. Tactical Response will take care of the 5 gentlemen that found their way onto our rosters because they are now OUR students. We will not leave them hanging.

I’d like to also address a part of the statement posted on BodyGuardCareers.net by LC Holifield: “I also spoke with Tactical Response and verified with them that Lee Coleman and IES has been doing good business with them for quite some time.”

No one that works for Tactical Response spoke with Mr. Holifield. More importantly, we have not yet trained any students referred by Mr. Coleman as the first and only registrations he made are for our classes in June, 2007. Clearly, we have not been doing “good business for quite some time” with Mr. Coleman or any of his companies. I believe this statement is nothing more than an attempt to drag Tactical Response as a legitimate training company into the quagmire that Mr. Coleman has created to lend some legitimacy to his business practices.

  103. ricky coleman ( LEE ) Says:

Ok!!! Mr. Brad Wareen Is on Probation and is a Drug atteck. He was never working for me or my company when he STOLE AND I MEAN STOLE AND SCAMMED FROM MY CUSTOMERS. Yes I have a criminal case against him and I also have proof. I have forfiled all thier money and, now this makes my compny the victim. Gohead Brad Wareen you are going to jail, and for anyone whom wants to come to our office please do so and I will show you Brads Arrest record along with all the proof that he scammedd all these customers that I had to resolve. Brad Is a DRUG ATTECK case closed. Reguardles of what I have done, it has nothing to do with my company I am legal and in response to TACTICAL RESPOSE they failed to say I sent them $8, 250.00 Check to train my customers. So Im sick and tired of all your blogs that mean S&^%&^%t and I am tired of Lillian trying to say she runs a legal company and I dont. WE RUN THE SAME BUISNESS BUT PROTECTION SERVUCES UNLIMITED DONT OFFER TRAINING AND IES DOES THROUGH SOURCES. CHECK THE TN. DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS AND YOU WILL SEE Brads record. CRIMINAL CASE # 07-53201 METRO POLICE DEPARTMENT NASHVILLE, TN ( note ) I have spoke with all the victims and they have sent us all the proof that BRAD did pick up there money long after he was fired from here. How he did this was he stole files and numbers along with card numbers while he worked here. Mr Brad Warrens’ background was not present to us until it was to late. Western union has him on camera picking up the money from various locations like Wall Mart and more. The truth is Brad is scared and knows I am not going to stop until he is in jail. Its to late Brad you had your chanse. I also have BRAD on recordings and even telling me he was wrong . Thats right you rember that one BRAD you called me and said you where sorry. Your DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh one more thing All is great over here.!!!!!

  105. D.W. Says:

My credit institution not my “bank” is currently investigating your credit transactions and will be reporting them to the authorities as well as the state attorneys office. Like I said, I hope you have a good lawyer because we are not spreading gossip, we are spreading the facts you jackass.

    love you buches,

    Mr. Lamb

  106. D.W. Says:

Is it just me or is everyone that tries to protect IES illiterate. Anyway just thought i would put my two cents in.

I still love yall Mr Coleman and Mr Woods. Nah, Just Kiddin. I just can stop think of yall and all the wonderful things you have done hehe. Later jackasses.

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Lamb

  107. ies Says:

sorry about the spelling I was so mad.

  108. INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE Says:

    D.W.MR. LAMB,
In regards to my credit transactions being checked, I have no problem with it . As a matter of a fact, once it is checked and then turned over to authorities, maybe then you guys will see that my transactions have been legit from the beginning. All these false accusations about my company are in my opinion riduculous and beginning to get way out of control. As for vets and police officers being taken advantage of, this is not true. These people are the only ones that would be qualified to do counterterrorism, etc. What am I supposed to advertise? That any one with no experience can get these positions. We are a referral service and once your info leaves this office, it is then up to the facility it was sent to to give you a call, NOT US. How much clearer can I make it. As to the names of these schools, I would be stupid to give them on this web site. You guys would just love that, wouldn\’t you! If my company falls apart, it won\’t be because we were scams, it will be due to people like you , who have nothing better to do but play on a computer all day. I think you have gotten your message across on this web site and I think that it is time to let sleeping dogs lay.You guys need not blame my company that you were not called for training. We did what we were supposed to do and that was to give you the opportunity to have your resume submitted in order to even have a chance at these positions. Evidently, quite a few people must be accepted into these schools or I would be hearing back from everone, don\’t you think? As for my company making a million bucks, I don\’t know who that idiot is, because if that was true, I would leave this nightmare and head to Pleasure Island! NOTE: In regards to Brad Warren, this is nothing but a running scared boy
who is spouting out lies and enuendos and using all the bad publicity my company has received, in order
to try and clear himself of impending criminal charges. He was FIRED from this company, HE DID NOT QUIT. Another lie. He was fired due to coming in day after day on drugs. He was seen by an employee shooting up dope in the bathroom. Why do you think he stole all that money from those individuals from Western Union? Let him continue with his lies, like all of you guys are saying about me, the truth will come out. Why don\’t we let the investigators do their job and let\’s just see where the cards fall.
NOTE: LILLIAN, You betrayed our friendsip and you are no better than the others, using the bad publicity to better yourself. ENOUGH SAID!

  109. private L.C Says:

#100 IS THE WORK OF LILLLIAN SINCE MR.WARREN LIVES IN A HALFWAY HOUSE.

  110. Lillian Says:

I DON\’T SEE HOW THIS IS USED TO BETTER MYSELF, CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT I STARTED OFF OFFERING THE SAME THING YOU DID. I ONCE TOLD YOU THAT YOU HAD A GOOD BUSINESS AND YOU SHOULD TAKE CARE OF IT. YOU TOLD ME ITS ALL A SCAM!!! ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!! YES I DID WORK FOR YOU ON OCCASION. I DID DATA ENTRY FOR YOU AND THATS IT. I TRUSTED YOU FOR YEARS, YOU WERE MY FRIEND, UNTIL I FOUD OUT WHAT EXACTLY YOU WERE DOING. THATS WHY I GOT MY FAMILY OUT OF THERE. I DIDN\’T WANT THEM TO GO TO JAIL FOR SOMETHING YOU WERE DOING. I BELIEVE THAT SOME OF YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE INNOCENT, THEY ARE JUST DOING AS THEY ARE TOLD AND TRUSTING YOU AS THEIR BOSS THAT YOU WOULD DO THE RIGHT THING. MY BUSINESS IS NOTHING LIKE RICKS ANY MORE. I STARTED OUT WITH TRAINING FACILITIES UNTIL MOST OF THEM THOUGHT I WAS YOU AND DIDN\’T WANT TO TALK TO ME. YOU ARE THE REASON I AM NOT A MEMBER OF THE BBB. BUT I HAVE BEEN HONEST WITH THEM AND THEY KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT MY COMPANY. NO SECRETS. I WISH I COULD SAY THE SAME FOR YOU. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AGAINST ME AS OF YET WITH THEM BECAUSE I TAKE CARE OF MY CLIENTS. ALL OF THESE PEOPLE DON\’T NEED TRAINING TO WORK AS A BODYGUARD. THEY ARE WASTING THEIR MONEY. AND I KNOW YOU BETTER THAN TO BELIEVE YOU LET GO OF 8,000.00 TO TRAIN SOME OF YOUR CLIENTS.TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT, I REGISTER PEOPLE FOR JOBS NOT TRAINING. IT IS MORE BENEFICIAL FOR ME AND MY CLIENTS AND THEY DON\’T HAVE TO WAIT AROUND FOR MONTHS FOR SOMETHING THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. SINCE YOU THINK THAT I AM DOING THIS FOR MY BENEFIT…WHY DID I NOT INCLUDE MY NAME AND BUSINESS WHEN I MADE MY LAST COMMENT. WHICH WAS #92 AND #93. YOUR CLIENTS THAT WANT A REAL BODYGUARD JOB WITH OUT HAVING TO PAY OUT THE ASS FOR TRAINING, PLEASE CALL ME. YES I CHARGE A FEE FOR MY SERVICES IT IS $145.00 NOW AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO WORK. MY NUMBER IS 1-866-271-7779. HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT!!! BETTER YET I WILL REGISTER YOU GUYS FOR HALF PRICE FOR THE REST OF THIS MONTH!!! BUT YOU HAVE TO MENTION BODYGUARD CAREERS.COM. AS FOR BRAD\’S COMMENT I DIDNT DO IT. YES BRAD WORKS FOR ME AND HE IS A HANDFUL AT TIMES. BUT YOU SHOULD KNOW TO NEVER GIVE SOMEONE THE OPPORTUNITY TO STEAL FROM YOU CONVICT OR NOT. EVERYONE THAT COMMITS A CRIME DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE INCLUDING BRAD. YOU HAVE HAD YOUR SECOND CHANCE MANY TIMES OVER AND STILL CAN\’T GET IT TOGETHER. YOU HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING BAD AGAINST ME OR MY FAMILY AND I THINK IT IS A MERELY OUT OF RESPECT. FOR THIS I THANK YOU. I AM NOT USING MY DAUGHTER FOR ANY PURPOSES HERE. I HAVE SEEN YOU PULL OUT A GUN ON SOMEONE BEFORE AND WITH YOUR CASH FLOW U COULD PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO DO YOUR DIRTY WORK. RESPECT OR NOT… IF YOU THINK I HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE ALL OF THIS YOU ARE WRONG. I HAVE NEVER STOLEN ANYTHING FROM YOU, EVERYTHING I HAVE I DID MYSELF. YOU KNOW ME WELL ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT I WOULD NEVER LIE ABOUT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE SAID HERE IS TRUE. ALL MY INFO EITHER COMES FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE OR BY YOUR UNHAPPY CLIENTS WHO HAVE CALLED ME WANTING THEIR MONEY BACK!!! NOT TGO MENTION FROM SOME PAST EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE CALLED ME WANTING A JOB. I WOULD RATHER ONLY PUT UP WITH ONE PAST CRIMINAL THAN A WHOLE ROOM OF THEM AS YOU DO. YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING ABOUT ME AS YOU WISH. BUT IT WILL NOT MAKE ANY OF THIS GO AWAY. YOU HAVE DUG YOUR OWN GRAVE AND MANY WILL BE AFTER YOU I AM GLAD THAT THINGS ARE GOOD FOR YOU NOW BECAUSE THEY WON\’T BE LATER.

Yes we have been sending to training and soon we will have our testomonie page up and running so far things are falling into place. So private, on comment #113. Your telling me I can walk into your office there 845 Bell Road Suite 109 Nashville,Tennessee 37013 and you will distribute my resume to different companies or training schools? Is this opportunity open to customers that have been waiting for months? Is this service going to cost extra? Because, alot of people have paid you company alot of money already, well over paid I would say, and this service should not cost them anything. Oh, by the way, I dont need you to redo my resume. Your having enough trouble spelling as it is.

  124. Andrew Hengel Says:

HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!

For everyone’s information I filed a complaint with my credit card company (Discover Card), challenging the charges for services not received. I did this within five months of the transaction. I kept all newspaper ads, made recordings, and documented everything that transpired. At first I had problems with Discover Card in that they were actually supporting this known criminal. It wasn’t until I sent a very detailed letter to the CEO and cancelled my card with them that they reversed ALL charges. Discover Card found that the company did not provide the service as promised and finally issued the charged back.

I realize for some that this really isn’t the issue. As in my case I had other employment opportunities that I declined base on the belief that I was scheduled for PAID training and would be “guaranteed” employment of at least six figures, at the end of my training. The registration fee I paid was nothing compared to the job I turned down because of this scam. However at least I received a full charge back on my now cancelled Discover Card and can hopefully help others get their money back as well. The ONLY other concern I have is the Social Security numbers this criminal has of all my family members from the application process. I recommend you contact a credit reporting agency and report all Social Security numbers that you gave to “International Executive LLC” as stolen. Anything illegally obtained is theft, so don’t worry about being accused of initiating a false report from this [phony] company. They fraudulently obtained (very personal) information which under any other circumstance you would NOT have confided in, so don’t let them get away with it! Who knows to whom it’s being sold to on the black market too, or what they are doing with it themselves!!!

FINALLY, EVEN IF IT’S BEEN A YEAR, FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY ABOUT INTERNATIONAL EXECTIVE SERVICES LLC. THESE COMPLAINTS WILL BE KEPT ON RECORD AND HOPEFULLY WILL MAKE IT EASIER FOR THE NEXT VICTIM TO GET THEIR REFUND.
    Good Luck

BBB Reverse Report. Please read report at very bottom of page after reading this.

International Executive Services LLC /Advancement Solutions, LLC does not have a good relationship with the BBB in Tennessee. However our stance is that their information is inaccurate and unfounded.
Any information that the BBB have gathered is from clients who have signed up for our referral services without meeting the qualifications for the training.

Our office understands that the BBB tries to help consumers. We believe that number of complaints is minimal considering the number of satisfied customers we deal with on a daily basis. On the other hand, we feel that if an applicant has read and signed & notarized documents agreeing to the conditions of our company’s polices. It is unreasonable for the BBB to side with the customer when a complaint is filed simply because they do not get a refund. International Executive Services, LLC feels that the applicant at some point should be held accountable for their actions.

International Executive Services LLC /Advancement Solutions, at one time was on good terms with the BBB until it was requested that IES divulge personal and confidential information concerning clients personal information & the security company’s who employ graduates.
IES does not give sell, trade or otherwise divulge confidential information of any client or Agency who employs clients.
Perhaps the time has come for the business community to ask whom the BBB must answer to for their own indiscretions. If a company does not respond to the BBB’s request, then that company is considered not to be legit or a scam etc. The general public assumes these allegations to be a fact! The truth of the matter is that the BBB makes misjudgments against many companies including International Executive Services, LLC.

IES does have a refund policy that states if you do not graduate the Academy, You will have to provide the school transcripts stating the reason you did not graduate. You can request a refund if you have a doctors statement saying that you cannot participate in the training because of a medical condition. You can request a refund if you are called for Military deployment.
However, if you register for a program and do not follow through with the application process you will not be eligible for a refund. If you decide you don’t want to take the training you are not eligible for a refund.

IES is a Referral Service not a Registration Service and DOES NOT GUARANTEE anyone a job. No one who contacts IES will ever be told that they have been guaranteed a job. Our Agents tell all callers that they are only guaranteed a job upon completion of the Academy training, which IES will make every effort to acquire for you.

When you are accepted into an Academy Training Program you will be offered a contract to work overseas and in the U. S. A.

IES is not out to take anyone’s money and not provide our services. There are jobs available to those who meet the qualifications & go through the Training Academy Programs and graduate.

The Hidden Results that the BBB want tell the public to hide there own actions.
On 09-09-2005 the BBB recognized International Executive Services, LLC as a new company in TN. On November 1st 2006 the BBB requested information from our company about our advertising and to provide them information about the advertising, the BBB also requested 10 customers that have used our services and obtained work through our company. On 10-23-2006 International Executive Services, LLC – Advancement Solutions , LLC did in fact- fax over 25 customers information with there first and last name including there contact information, we did not provide addresses to the BBB simply because of respect for our customer. International Executive Services, LLC and Advancement Solutions, LLC did call the 25 customers to let them know that they would be getting a call from the BBB. We didn’t reach all 25 customers but did leave a message. So the BBB goes on to say we refused this information but we did NOT. We also provided them with accurate information concerning our advertising PAID TRAINING ** we changed this information around to PAID TRAINING IS AVAILABLE so that it would mean that not all would qualify but some would, yet they still go on saying we Refused. The BBB also goes on to say we offer no training and that is just ridiculous, we have sent several students to training and have helped hundreds with obtaining work. No we will NOT release the name of the schools to the BBB or Channel 5 news or any other news or agency working to discredit our services. We did on 05-22-2007 provide the BBB and Channel 5 News in Nashville, TN the names of our affiliates and the BBB called them and used the owner of the companies background to discredit our services and we lost the affiliation and instructors because the information they were presented with was BLOWN OUT OF PERPORTION. The fact is the Channel 5 news is just looking for a story and when they found out Mr. Coleman the owner was arrested years ago for DUI and government impersonation they used there own assumptions that Mr. Coleman was running a scam and that isn’t true at all. Running this company has nothing to do with the past of someone’s record unless proven otherwise. The fact is, YES International Executive Services, LLC is a legal business in Nashville, TN and has been for years and will be for years to come. On 11-01-2007 International Executive Services, LLC sent a request by fax to the BBB that they provide us the information to file a complaint on there actions and they have refused. International Executive Services, LLC has called and left messages for Benita Tab and the supervisor to call us back but they refused again to even provide us with any information concerning that they are in fact a Monopoly in itself. So the BBB is not always reporting the facts about some companies and now that they have put International Executive Services, LLC on the news and said all this misleading information they feel they would look like fools to admit they were wrong and owe International Executive Services, LLC an apology. As of 11-12-2007 we are still waiting on the requested information from the BBB that they continue to refuse to provide our company.

This report is information obtained from the BBB and the company International Executive Services, LLC.

I thank you for all of your information on this company. I am new to this business and am looking into getting into this business. I have been in law enforcement for 8 years and this has been a informative site. I have decided not to go with this company due to the amount of discrepencies in thier website’s (all three of them). Can’t believe i was almost suckered into giving my money away for a background check. I could mail them my background check from my work. If anyone has any information of what other companies are out there, other than Triple Canopy, BlackWater, Tactial Response, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Update 12-18-2007 this is the actual email the BBB sent to me after months of requests- take a look at this ***
    Mr. Coleman,

The BBB is not regulated by any government agency, so therefore there is no agency for you to file a complaint with.
Seems funny to me. Does this mean they can say anything they want? Come on this is completely out of line and business owners need to stand up to this non government agency that calls itself the BBB.
This report is information obtained from the BBB and the company International Executive Services, LLC.

02-08-2008 Updated information about the BBB. The BBB has reported that International Executive Services was using their logo on this report. This is true however we have removed this due to any misunderstandings requested by the BBB. The BBB will also state that this is a false report but as you see above their email explains itself. There is NO ONE to file a Judgment or Compliant against them, so does this mean we are to let them keep destroying a business just because of a few complaints. The fact is we have over 7 thousand paying customers and only 40 complaints WOW is that a lot it only comes to 2.8 % of the total customers we have. They also say we don’t offer training or related work that is a complete LIE. We do offer training and job placement assistance. We will Not provide the BBB with Any of our associates because they will do exactly what they did before and that is call them and tell them not to do business with us or leave them a bad impression on our services. The fact is this THE BBB is doing nothing more than keeping YOU the customer or candidate from using our services therefore leading you to believe there will be no jobs or training. So who is to blame for services not rendered = The BBB has kept several qualified applicants confusing them to believe they will not get a job or training when they had a great chance of achieving if they would have used our services.

    Thank you.

I just took a look at the IES, LLC website, and quite honestly what I found was slightly amusing but mostly just sad. I looked at the “Testimonial” (apperantly there is only one) page and it didn’t take long to find something wrong. I’m only going to address the first of Mr. Colemans claimed “experience”, as a don’t have a week to sit here discrediting them all.

    1. 16 weeks Georgia Rangers Training Academy Located in Adamsville, GA and held the rank of Lieutenant.

As far as I can tell there is no such organization as the “Georgia Rangers” unless he is reffering to the Georgia Infantry Partisian Rangers who became the 8th Regiment Georgia Calvary and surrendered at Greensboro, NC in 1865. Or he could be reffering to the Georgia Royal Rangers, a Boy-Scout type programs for boys age 5-17.

As to where he claims the Training Academy to be
Adamsville, GA is a predominantley African-American Neighborhood on the west side of Atlanta. They have a very nice Recreation Center built in 03, but no training academy of any kind as far as I can tell.
Now I have no stake in this situation, I was just searching for security guard jobs when I came across this site (bodyguardcareers.com not IES) and it makes me sad to see someone doing this to out Veterans and former law enforcement officers. People who put it all on the line to make sure this country stays free and safe. But more than anything I am baffled by the fact that this company is still operating considering the obvious incompetence and even Illiteracy of Mr. Coleman and his associates. Any one with information about the current situation i would very much like to hear about it and if there is any way I can help please let me know. These people need to be in jail. Look I hate to get into a FUBAR conversation. I was couroius if anyone else realized how pathetic the conversations have become. If the two co.’s listed above are what they say they are and Mr. Coleman had the training that he says that he has; then why the anger. One of the first rules in battle is never get angry. The other one is never show it. I have know truck drivers with more professionalism then what is getting spitted out on this “blog”.
Look quality speaks for its self. For those that are tring to scam, whether it is Mr. Coleman, or the ones that are digruntled, if you are a liar, then God the Father will repay for those deeds done. No amount of money is worth the slandering and the murder that is taking place on this site. If those that feel like they are being cheated then let them stand on the facts not he said/she said. God shall repay those that have been wronged. Thank you for your time.

They had explained to me the training dates are up to the academy. Also stated by Mr. Coleman once your information is sent, it is up to the academy to contact you.

Wow! A lot of crazy stories. Sorry to hear so many people got taken by these jerks. Clearly by seeing the way they replied to Huck with mis-spelled words and such…Honestly if you want the right training in this buisness you either pay for the right school no matter what the cost, or you network your A## off, keep your eye on the ball and learn from the (hopefully) expeirenced people you surround yourself with…most of all don’t let money be your 1st priority for getting in to this buisness…look forward to spending it in the end, just don’t let it drive you…client safety drives the machine…spending the money is the fun part when you get to have time to your self…good luck with all you do, hope to hear at least some of you get your money back….J

  136. Guest Says:

WOW!!!!! There are way too many illiterate people in this world. Where did half of you learn how to spell? Anyhow, I too got shafted by these scam artists a year ago. They wanted me to pay 3K! Screw them!!! I have the experience and I’m currently working in Iraq. I just needed the certification so I can work at home. One more last note before I leave. Hooked on Phonics! I’m out!

  137. Risc Group Says:

Wow, after reading these many post i found myself curious and decided to check into IES a/ka/ AS ect…I called the number on the posting and within minutes I was on the phone with a representative who stated “that they were registering candidates for a training program and was I ready to get involved.” (within the first second or two i could tell this was a boiler room and the goal was to get people excited about the industry before hitting them over the head with the cost of said registration) As a seasoned executive protection specialist I can understand why so many of you have fallen victim to this tired “scam.”

The operator(s) of IES/AS are correct in one thing, offering to register prospective clients is not a crime. misleading them IS! The information that there employees are telling prospective clients is designed to collect funds based on erroneous information.

In closing, I offer the following; if it walks, looks and smells like a duck then it is a DUCK.

  138. vendor Says:

Risk Corp is training IES students — go figure.

  139. tim estes Says:

I just want my money back. Body guard training international by David lamanno told me I could have attended his training course a long time ago. I’m wondering why IES couldn’t get me into their course since I have their trainig manual that IES sent me months ago.

  140. IES Says:

    Mr estes,

And evryone reading. Why have you not called our company and we could have talekd about this. And of course you could have went sooner if you would have found Mr Lamanno on your own. please log into your account and that is where you will find class information. 2009 folks and not any sooner.

  141. Lillian Says:

I was doing some research and came accross this website again. It has been a while since I have been looking at all of this nonsense!! I read a comment a while back that I was involved in this scam!!! I am definitely not involved with Ricky Lee Coleman’s wrong doing… My business is Protection Services Unlimited. I am only affiliated with the International Bodyguard Network and now provide their training program to members of our organization who are interested in becoming a part of this industry.

  142. Max Says:

I talking to a person named Ed a few weeks ago who promised full time work and roads paved wtih gold if I order the 200 dollar video. The whole thing seemed a little suspect to me so I said I had to think about it for a bit and get back to him. I’m glad I did a lttle digging and read what you all had to say here. My alarms realy went off whe this “Ed” guy called me back at my house to see if I was still interested. WTF?! Why is this guy so gung-ho for me to become a bodyguard? Sounds like he wasjust looking for my credit card number. Screw these guys. It’s obviously a total scam. I’m thankful for all those and shared their story and helped me to avoid losing money as well.

  143. Mike Vrana Says:

You Should never have to pay a fee to a company that is hiring you!If hired by a legitimate company they will deduct fees from your check.

  144. Jay Soulia Says:

I hope these guys are legit. They got $406.00. of mine last month. I am also an ESI graduate, fugitive recovery agent and private investigator. These guys should be shot if they’re not legit. I hate being suckered. I should have done my research first. Damn!

  145. Lillian Says:

Max… Good thing you didn’t register. You seem to have some bad either comprehension or listening skills.. Which are not qualities needed by a bodyguard. When you talked to Ed, He told you that you are paying for a membership not a video. Our training has nothing to do with a video. Clients that want to hire bodyguards would feel more comfortable hiring one that is affiliated with a bodyguard organization with proper training than just someone off the street. Our fee is a membership fee you do not pay for your training. Since you could not understand that from your conversation, you would definitely become a liability rather than an asset. Thanks for saving me the trouble. Jay you must have registered with international Executives…. I hope that they deliver what they promised you..Unfortunately we get alot of calls at Protection Services Unlimited from their clients…most of them unhappy. Good luck to you.

  146. David Lamanno Says:

As of this week, I have FIRST hand knowledge of two facts…

#! Ricky Lee Coleman/IES has FRAUDULENTLY REPRODUCED OUR EPS TRAINING MANUAL – IT IS A CRUDE KNOCK OFF… HE IS SELLING OUR MANUAL ILLEGALLY – HE IS PHOTOCOPYING IT AND SELLING IT ONLINE – IF YOU HAVE GOTTEN A COPY OF THE EPS TRAINING MANUAL IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS, PLEASE CONTACT US CEO@USABODYGUARDS.COM

#2 IES was raided this week by the U.S. Secret Service and all of their computers were seized, their assests were frozen and bank accounts were frozen. And dozens of boxes of paperwork has been siezed… I know this to be true first hand as I was contacted by an agent with the US Secret Service.

This company is a SCAM through and through. We are starting legal action against them which will include copyright infringement laws as well as mail fraud.

    David LaManno
    Director
    Bodyguard Training International

  147. Ricky Lee Coleman Says:

    To all and Dave LaManno

You go on to say this load of horse sh%&% and never did you bother to tell anyone that YOU gave us permission to sale your manual. The manuals we sold ,are the damn ones bought from you. I have no control over, if someone else copies it after I sold it to them. I stoped sales of them the day I spoke to you. So I’m not sure why you have something personal against me but its not kool. So evryone that reads this International executive Services,LLC and Advancement Solutions have closed and this is what you wanted well now you have it. Good Day

  148. David LaManno Says:

I have hard copies in my hand from people whom have purchased these horrible knock-offs…
of all the industries you could have picked to scam people, this wasnt the smartest one to do it in.

It makes me sick of all the people who turned to you with their hard earned money for some help to better their lives in the promise of a new career… a career soley based on protecting other people, from, well, people like YOU…

  149. Lee Says:

I say again as you still refuse to tell EVERYONE that YOU have gave me permission to sale your shit. I havent copied anything and would never sale something that looks bad. So its a set up in my eyes. Im not bloging on here anymore. Good Luck Dave with your show. LOL

  150. rhino0321 Says:

    WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND!!!

  151. Mike Thomas Says:

Beware folks, this guy/company has surfaced again under multiple fake and misleading websites. I know they are selling a manual, not sure if it is the same rip off Dave told everyone about.

I know some of the guys in the pictures they have posted on their sites, and they have stolen those pictures too.

Someone should contact the USSS again and let them know what they are up too.

  152. Jeremy Collins Says:

I just put it together , The new company associater with International Executive Services is RLC INC, Ricky Lee Coleman Inc. DUH. He is still scamming people

  153. brad Says:

I thought that you guys would like to know that Mr. Coleman was put in jail yesterday for a one year sentence in the Davidson county sheriff’s office in Nashville TN for forgery under $500. I don’t thin that this was business related but all the same he will be off the streets for one year no chance of early release. We still are waiting for the feds case against him to surface.

  154. Sam Y Says:

So, I talked to the company today as I was interested in what they had to offer. They wouldn’t provide thier PPO number (they say its illegal…bullsh%t), they dont endorse CCW permits, and the biggest crock of s^$t is that they SEND TRAINING PACKAGES to complete to be qualified to work! No real protection company would ever send some BS training package…if its not first hand training, dont bother. I never paid for the “services” but laughed my ass off and hung up. PSUBODYGUARDS.COM is the site to AVOID. Take it from a real professional folks.

  155. Lillian Amador Says:

Your an idiot… Do your homework, we are not the same company and we run a successful business. Some professional u r!!! Just trying to boost your ego instead of posting the facts…
