35W Bridge Collapse
My condolences to those victims and their families of the 35W Bridge Collapse in Minneapolis. The eight-lane Interstate 35W bridge a major Minneapolis artery was in the middle of being repaired and two lanes in each direction were closed when the bridge buckled and fell about 65 feet into the Mississippi river during evening rush hour traffic Wednesday. Authorities lowered the death toll to four, but warned the final number could change as divers search the wreckage for as many as 30 people still missing.
