This makes me so sad. 29 years old. Good grief.
I drive a 12-year-old Chevy Cavalier, and I always lock my door when I'm
driving! I'm not afraid anyone would take the car, but I just feel vulnerable--once a bad guy is in the car (and I'm belted in) the potential of becoming a captive is just too high!
I think the lesson to take from this is that when one is in the bodyguard/EP business, it is imperative to remember you are not invincible. It only takes one moment of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and Game Over. I suppose that after long, long hours of being "on the alert" a bodyguard might just be exhausted and let down their guard in their personal life, on personal time. I don't know. I'm just saddened by this story.
Be careful out there, all y'all.
