6 day EPS Academy in Los Angeles CA,

Bodyguard Training International is holding another 6 day EPS academy in Los Angeles CA, April 13th – 18th 2010… with just two weeks left, we have a limited number of seats still available and are offering last minute deals to fill the course.

Is Personal Safety and Issue for Professional Athletes?

Should professional athletes be concern for their personal safety and that of their families? A couple years after the tragic death of Washington Redskin’s player, Sean Taylor. This Cleveland Plain Dealer did interviews with several athletes who discuss their concerns, vulnerabilities and their protective strategies.

Unfortunately the interviews, while well meaning, starts out with a comment by LeBron James who seems to believe that driving fast will allow him to escape anyone intent on harming him. The truth is that it’s more likely to harm Lebron than any would be attackers.

On international EP assignment especially in Third World urban environment the risk of hostage takings, hijackings, sabotages, armed assaults and bombings increase. How can EP agents prevent terrorism acts occurring within the proximity when they are elusive, surprising and violent acts?
