There is an urgent requirement for two US Nationals, one to be the Guard Force Commander (GFC) and one to be the Deputy Guard Force Commander (DGFC) in a West African Country in support of a US government contract.
Applicants must have experience of the West African environment, preferably with on-the-ground experience in a West African country. The successful applicants will be familiar with the following, and preferably be certified in:
* Basic guard duties
* Applicable Liberian laws on use of force, search and seizure, and power of arrest
* Threat awareness
* Actions in the event of fires and explosions
* Basic first aid
* Unarmed defense and restraint
* Site specific procedures
* Access controls for vehicle and pedestrians
* Emergency plans
* Guard force communications
* Maintenance of post logs
* Incident reporting
The successful applicants will oversee and manage a guard force of (former military) Southern African personnel. Some guard positions to be occupied by these personnel will require them to be armed.
The successful applicants should be prepared to deploy to West Africa in the immediate future.
