What is the going rate per day in country for a Triple Canopy protective security specialist? I see in 2007 it was $575.
funny how people in the states that wont leave home can think that a company is crap or not worth it. I have been contracting for 7 years now and you take the good and the bad. thats life. if you think that a career in law enforcement or you have a skill set from the Army can make you a six figure income in the states go for it. If you want to bad mouth a company you have better played the game and have something to back up your words. peace out to the guys on the ground
Woouldn’t work for this company if they were the last ones on the planet. Crap company, poor pay, poor organisation etc the list is endless……………………
in start career i think is soo difficult to find the first and correct job , i have a lot experience in militar field and recive some medals from U.n and Nato ,but i´m looking for a job in close protection…when i finish my internacional bodyguard course i did not get the right refferences …if some one know the right place to contact please sae something…thank you 351 965534869
$575 is peanuts. Perhaps skipping out the middle man and going direct would be more rewarding financially! Bearing in mind the high risk and hostile environment .. not worth risking it for that.
LOOKING TO RETIRE FROM FLORIDA PD THIS YEAR. LOOKING FOR PSS JOB IN U.S. WANT TO STAY IN FLORIDA, BUT WILL TRAVEL. LOOKING FOR 6 FIGURE JOB WORKING FOR COPORATE EXECUTIVES, PRIVATE JET COMPANYS, DIGNITARIES, WEALTHY FAMILIES, ETC. ANYBODY GOT ANY CONTACTS?
$575 per day is crap for a decent PSD, you can work for KBR as a Labor Foreman and make the same or more….
The sad fact is so many new PSD’s are signing up with no experience and being used as fodder that it drops the rates for those who know what can happen. Believe me Triple canopy and others like them are charging their clients on a day rate basis and its a hell of a lot more that $575 a day, try between $1500 and $2000 per day for each PSD employed, not a bad mark up for sitting back in the rear with the bear and the gear even with overheads.

I’m sad to see that only US citizen can work in Iraq. As French, we have a good PSD team!
