Mark “Six” James is a friend of mine, and in my opinion the subject matter expert with regards to Firearms. His book Defensive Handgun: Preparing to Prevail is without question one of the best.

The Defensive Handgun Book has not only opened my eyes to other forms, and skill sets out on the market, but has also showed me various ways in applying it to a defensive situation if need be. This book has absolutely made me feel more comfortable in my self defense skills bar none. This book is on point! I read this book and met with Mark to go over the techniques outlined and I’ll tell you; even the average person can gain from what he has outlined. Just as Dr. L.C. Holifield stated, If you’re looking to increase your odds in a self defense situation, this is most definitely a MUST READ/MUST STUDY. Very easy to read and understand. Great Book.
