In Ronald Kessler’s book, “In the President’s Secret Service,” Al Gore makes negative comments about the Secret Service, Kessler writes about the time Gore was lecturing one his kids about the need to study when he pointed to the Secret Service and said, “otherwise you’re going to end up like these guys,” I wonder what Gore would have to say about this individual now that he’s aspiring to be a US Senator.
Daniel Bongino a former Secret Service agent who vowed to take a bullet for Presidents Obama and Bush is now trying to take Benjamin Cardin’s Senate seat. Bongino spent 12 years with the Secret Service before he resigned in May to launch a Senate campaign to challenge the Maryland Democrat.

Gore, a really nasty guy!!!

Great points Alonzo, Gore is a real JERK

Gore, the Clintons, Carter… All intelligent people claiming to fight on behalf of the average man and showing nothing but elitist disdain for their protectors in private. Given the caliber of most USSS agents, who represent the top of the protective work pyramid, that’s food for thought about how too many clients feel about us joe bodyguards.
Of course, there’s also VIPs with a Bush- or Reagan-type attitude (respectful and grateful). 😉
Wow, I had never heard of this Daniel Bongino, but here’s someone who makes perfect sense! I hope that more candidates emerge from similar pools of ethical and straight-talking people. Politics (like power) do corrupt so folks getting into this arena have to start out spotless.
