Bodyguard Careers is an informational site with the purpose of providing bodyguards with all the information and tools necessary to succeed in the executive protection industry.
Don’t forget the Kids of protected executives. If the executive is high profile or the subject of a threat, his kids may need coverage. They may be more vulnerable, in fact, than the executive ensconced in a corporate setting.

My job is to take care of my Boss’s wife. By the time i get to his house in the morning by 7:30AM. She is still getting ready and that’s the time their 4year old son goes to school. When i took the job. They never told me to lok after their son. But understanding well that my Principal’s family is crucial and anyone plotting to harm him might hesistate coz they know am in charge. He {attacker} could look for ways to harm the family i.e. kids.I took it upon myself to be accompanying the kid to school which is about five minutes away from their residence.
I have a Client who owns a very large corporation that he inherited from his father. They recently placed a small home on the property and the grandfather lives in it, but my job, the reason I am there is to protect the *father* at all costs. Lately the son has been coming around and is very curious as to our presence, the odd hours we are there etc. One thing I personally keep in mind on this site is that although my PRIMARY job/role is to protect the father at all costs… just as the father assumed the leadership role from the grandfather, in the future, so shall his son… and become my boss calling all the shots! It’s challenging when dealing with 3 generations but always remember that one day that curious boy with all the questions will be the one giving YOU instructions on how HE wants things done 🙂 think of it as job security.

As an person that has EP and children – I have directed that when my children and I are traveling – the first priority is them. Period.
If I did not think that the EP agents domestic and international did not understand that – they would be out the door so quickly…I continue to use the company and the assigned agents due to the fact that I can see ( and I do look for it ) that they take my childrens safety as serious as they take mine.
